Disassemble the gearbox, for which remove the cover, remove the retaining rings, remove the driving, parasitic and driven gears, remove the keys.
Separate the gearbox housing. In electric planers with V-belt transmission, the casing, pulleys and belts are dismantled.
Unscrew the bolts, remove the nuts and undo the plastic half-shells of the electric motor, made integral with the halves of the handle.
Disconnect wires, remove switch, capacitor.
Remove the cover of the electric motor, dismantle the brush holders, brushes, back shield.
Unscrew the tie bolts, separate the stator core from the plastic housing half.
Remove the armature and remove the fan and ball bearings from it.
Dismantle the knife drum by removing its covers.
Disassemble the drum by freeing the planer knives.
Dismantle the front support and disassemble the planing depth adjustment mechanism.

The main part of the photodiode is a reverse-biased junction.
In its case there is a window through which the semiconductor crystal is illuminated.
In the absence of light, the current through the pn junction is very small - it does not exceed the reverse current of a conventional diode.
When the crystal is illuminated, the reverse resistance of the junction drops sharply, and the current through it increases.
To show such a semiconductor diode on the diagram, the base symbol of the diode is placed in a circle, and next to it (top left, regardless of the position of the symbol), a sign of the photoelectric effect is depicted - two oblique parallel arrows directed towards the symbol (Fig. 1, a).
In a similar way, it is not difficult to construct the conventional designation of any other semiconductor device that changes its properties under the influence of optical radiation.
As an example, (Fig. 1, b) shows the designation of the photodynamic device.
