The front view is the initial view in the drawing, sometimes called the main view.

Top view is when an object is viewed from above perpendicular to the horizontal plane.

1 Purpose of the product

1.1 Contactors and electromagnetic starters of the PM12-010 type are intended for use as components in electric drive control circuits, mainly for use in stationary installations for remote starting by direct connection to the network, stopping and reversing three-phase asynchronous electric motors with a squirrel-cage rotor at voltages up to 660 V alternating current with a frequency of 50 and 60 Hz with a maximum power of up to 2.2 kW at a voltage of 220 V; 4.0 kW at a voltage of 380 V; 5.5 kW at 660 V.

1.2 Starters protect controlled electric motors from overloads of unacceptable duration and from currents arising from the breakage of one of the phases.

2 Product structure

2.1 The starter consists of a housing to which a block of additional contacts can be connected. The configuration of contacts ("open" and "closed") on the additional block, depending on the version, may be different.

2.2 The housing can be disassembled without any additional tools, for example, to replace the coil, or to clean the contacts.

3 Basic technical data

3.1 Rated current of the contacts of the main circuit, A ——— 10

3.3 Rated voltage of the closing coils:

- 24, 36, 40, 48, 110, 127, 220, 230, 240, 380, 400, 415, 440, 500, 660 V AC with a frequency of 50 Hz;

3.4 Mechanical, switching endurance and permissible switching frequency per hour must correspond to table 1.
