1.2. Trained personnel who have passed a medical examination and who have been found fit for work, who are familiar with special instructions for working with the tool, with fire safety rules, who have mastered safe work techniques, who know and are able to apply first aid methods in case of accidents, are allowed to work independently with a power tool having group II for electrical safety.
1.3. Personnel working with power tools must:
1.3.1. Carry out only the work that is entrusted to him by his immediate supervisor: chief, foreman, foreman.
1.3.2. Have and use a cotton suit or semi-overalls for the intended purpose, goggles, leather boots, ear muffs;
when working with a class I machine - dielectric gloves, galoshes, rugs, headgear, protective dielectric helmet.
1.4. Each power tool must have an inventory number and registered in a special register, which also notes periodic inspections.
1.5. Connection to the network of hand-held electric machines must be carried out
by means of 500V insulated hose wires.
1.6. Sheaths of cables and wires should be inserted into hand-held electric machines and firmly fixed in order to avoid breaking and abrasion.
1.7. Portable electric lights must be durable, reliable
and only factory-made. The design of a portable lamp should exclude the possibility of touching live parts. The holder must be in the handle, and the lamp itself must be fenced off with a safety net, and in damp rooms the lamp must be shielded with a glass cover. The safety net is attached to the handle so that it cannot be energized in the event of a short circuit in the cartridge. For power supply of portable lamps, voltage 12V is used in especially dangerous premises and 42V in other cases.
1.8. Immediately notify the master of any accident and
go to the medical center.
1.9. In case of non-compliance with the provisions of this instruction, employees may be
brought to disciplinary, administrative, material liability in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, depending on the severity of the consequences.
2. Safety requirements before starting work.
2.1 Put in order working special clothing and footwear: button up the cuffs of the sleeves, fill in the clothes and fasten them with all buttons, put on a hat, prepare safety glasses.
2.2 The power tool must be visually inspected and checked at idle speed.
2.3 During visual inspection, check and make sure that:
- there are no cracks or other damages on the case;
- the cable (cord), its protective tubes and plugs are in good working order;
- the insert tool is correctly sharpened, has no cracks, dents, burrs and other defects;
- the abrasive wheel on the grinder is securely protected by a protective cover.
2.4 When idling, check:
- the clarity of the starting device (switch);
- whether there is increased noise, knocking and vibration.
2.4 It is prohibited to operate the machine if the following malfunctions occur during operation:
- damage to the plug connection and cable;
- fuzzy operation of the switch;
- sparking of brushes on the collector, accompanied by the appearance of a circular fire on its surface;
- leakage of grease from the gearbox and ventilation ducts;
- the appearance of smoke or smell characteristic of burning insulation;
- the appearance of knocking, vibration, increased noise;
- breakage or the appearance of cracks in the body part, handle, protective guard;
- damage to the plug-in tool.
3. Safety requirements during work.
3.1 When working with a power tool, personnel must:
- make sure that the power cable is protected from accidental damage, as well as contact with hot and oily surfaces;
- install and remove the plug-in tool, as well as adjust it only after the rotor of the power tool has come to a complete stop;
- in the event of a power outage or a temporary break in work, disconnect the machine from the mains with a plug;
- in case of a sudden stop of the machine (for example, when the drill is jammed at the exit from the hole), it should be turned off immediately;
- handle it with care, without exposing it to shocks, overloads in work, dirt, moisture, oil products, solvents, etc .;
- regularly subject it to revision in accordance with passport data;
- when working with a grinder and other similar tools, use protective goggles or a shield to protect the eyes and face.
3.2 When operating a power tool, DO NOT:
- exceed the maximum permissible duration of work indicated in the passport of the machine;
- transfer it to persons who are not entitled to work with it;
- use body weight to create additional load on the instrument; - to work near not fenced or closed hatches and openings, as well as from portable x ladders, stepladders and loose stands;
- independently eliminate malfunctions of the power tool;
- carry it by holding the cable or plug-in tool;
- Leave the tool connected to the mains unattended;
- work with drilling and other rotating tools in gloves;
- keep your hands close to the rotating instrument;
- brake the rotating spindle by pressing it with any object or hands;
- remove from the machine vibration protection and working tool control;
- fix the abrasive wheel without cardboard spacers;
- remove protective covers;
- work with the side (end) surfaces of the circle, if it is not intended
for this type of work.
4. Safety requirements in emergency and emergency situations.
4.1. If the power tool or equipment breaks down, work must be stopped immediately and reported to your supervisor.
4.2. In the event of an emergency or emergency, danger to your health or the health of people around you, switch off the power tool, leave the danger area and inform your immediate supervisor.
5. Safety requirements at the end of work.
5.1 After finishing work it is necessary:
- disconnect the machine from the power supply with a plug;
- clean the car from dust and dirt;
- to clean the workplace and hand it over to the master;
- hand over the power tool to the person responsible for its serviceability and storage;
- take off overalls, wash your face and hands, or take a shower.
