This site is for beginners and not only electricians or those who consider themselves as such. Here is collected NOT ordered and a little messy information about various things related to installation, repair, maintenance of electrical equipment and, of course, safety.
The modern apartment is permeated with electricity from ceiling to floor, and from balcony to staircase. Here are just what is literally in every apartment:
- overhead lighting and different lighting,
- vacuum cleaners and all kinds of household cleaning assistants,
- washing machines,
- TV is generally a member of the family,
- a computer, or even two, and other electronic gadgets.
The kitchen is a separate topic. The kitchen is the most "energetic" place in the apartment. There are a lot of sockets here, as you need to connect a bunch of everything. Stove, refrigerator, microwave, kettle - these are just the main kitchen characters. And also lighting - preferably multi-level.
But time comes in any apartment, any owner breaks something:
either the handle is at the bedside table, or the leg is at the stool.
And it's the same with electricity:
then the light does not light in the lamp in the corridor, then the socket will loose or the key at the switch will break. And if there is a garage or a summer cottage, or even all together, then there is no open end to the work.
The owner, whose arms grow out of the right place, in his apartment tries to repair everything on his own. But sometimes it happens that a person is friends with both wood and iron, but he doesn’t work well with electricity. And I want to do it myself.
